As researchers at the University of Pittsburgh, for the first time, we have developed a groundbreaking technology that predicts medical errors and monitors patients’ conditions and problems by processing thousands of types of patient information from electronic health records in real-time.
Salim is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Pittsburgh (CS) and has been working on large-scale real-time machine learning solutions for healthcare while leading the development of the NOMA AI Platform in the last 7 years. Today, as the CEO of NOMA AI he is leading the commercialization of our solutions and the development of new patient monitoring solutions.
Milos is a professor and faculty of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh. He has more than 30 years of experience in researching and developing modern machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies to analyze high dimensional time-series data, electronic health record (EHR), and their application in real-time adverse event detection and clinical monitoring and alerting.
Gilles is a serial entrepreneur, practicing physician, and Professor of Critical Care Medicine, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh. He has continuously worked for more than 25 years on new solutions at the intersection of data science, engineering, and clinical research, to design, develop and evaluate quantitative solutions for medical decision support systems, bringing this experience to NOMA AI.
