Dr. Gilles Clermont is a practicing physician and Professor of Critical Care Medicine, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh. He has been continuously funded for more than 25 years at the intersection of data science, engineering and clinical research, to design, develop and evaluate quantitative solutions for medical decision support systems, bringing this experience to NOMA AI. His experience as both a physician and a researcher in development of quantitative solutions to tackle existing challenges in medicine grants him a unique, transdisciplinary, point of view, stemming from years of collaborative work across both medical and technological communities.
